Why does every art school INSIST on assigning Hometests/ specific pieces? I think they secretly want to kill us all...

I got 3 graphite drawings for RISD, 3 Pieces for Parson's and 6 (wtf!?) pieces for Cooper Union. That's 9(!) extra pieces aside from my regular portfolio. Not to mention the shitload of required essays, Don't even get me started on those....
